Inspired by our ever-dwindling food supplies and the ever-expanding bags beneath our eyes, we can’t get enough of anything parenting related.

Because school holidays have us feeling loved! And happy! But down. right. exhausted.

And Jess doesn’t even have kids….

In any case, here we go!

Kids Activities Blog

This blog is our latest and greatest find, and is quite possibly the best resource we have seen for parents of primary school age children to date!

There are print-outs, play time fun tips and EDIBLE ARTS AND CRAFTSAll available for free download.

But wait, there’s more! The site also features educational activities for kids from Prep to Year 11 – with a Year 12 unit coming soon.

And, just to round it out, there are parenting resources galore for mums of any age bracket.

Seriously, get to the website. Like, now.

Kidspot School Holidays Events Finder

No matter how many colouring sheets you have under your belt, there is only so long that you can keep the kids in the house. Better escape those four walls before it’s tantrum time!

If you live in an Australian capital city, this Kidspot event finder is just what you need to discover family friendly activities. The site allows you to search for events in your area with ease. You can filter your location, preferred time, your price range and the age of your kids to find out exactly what’s on in your area.

Click here to get searching now and out of the house tomorrow!

Cozi Family Organiser

Keeping track of who needs to be where, when, can be all too much when your routine is disturbed over the holidays. Cozi can help.

This family organiser app is shared, so you only need one account for the whole family. You can input schedules, shopping lists, reminders and more, which are synced across multiple devices as well as your home computer. This means that everyone old enough to own technology will be kept in the loop. There’s no excuse for your partner to forget the milk now!

Cozi Family Organiser is available here in the App Store or on Android via Google Play.

Powerhouse Program for Raising Teenage Boys

Raising boys is hard. Raising teenage boys is harder.

If you are having trouble connecting with your son, or simply wish he would be more inspired, then the Powerhouse Program will definitely help. The group offers a range of courses that turn boys into well-rounded men. There is also a program for fathers and sons that promotes a stronger connection between parent and child.

One of the best parts about Powerhouse is their generosity. When you sign up to the Powerhouse mailing list, you will receive a bunch of free resources relating to raising boys straight away. They also have a sponsorship program in place, where past participants donate funds toward a financially disadvantaged teen’s participation in the program.

You can read all about their courses as well as a bunch of testimonials through their website.

How are you keeping the kids – and yourself – happy over the Easter break?
