This week, Clarity Road is Loving Clarity Road is Loving…

No, that’s not a typo – we are giving ourselves a solid high five for thinking of this blog!

Because there’s nothing more rewarding or enjoyable than giving props to services and people deserving of praise.

It surely is an easy way to give ourselves a smile – hopefully it brings joy and some handy hints your way as well.

But enough of our self-indulgence.

This week, Clarity Road is ALSO loving…drumroll…

Blussh

Blussh is an online community that aims to inspire women toward a greater sense of self-worth and a love-filled life. The Blussh Freedom Chasers initiative encourages women to make their own commitment to living freely, authentically and shedding the weight of social expectations.

The site features a powerful blog in which different contributors and fellow freedom-chasers share their own commitments to freedom, as well as where they may trip up along the way.

Readers can also become directly involved in the Blussh Project by making a freedom promise through text, video or song. What’s more, the Blussh School Project brings the message of self-love to teenagers, both in schools and online through the Blussh forums.

Like Julie, founder Heidi Lakin has her own story of struggle and strength: an abbreviated version is available at the bottom of this page.

Across the board, Blussh encourages women to resist the urge to cultivate or speak out negative thoughts, and instead learn how to speak life, truth and affirmation into our worlds.

In short – what’s not to love?

MoneySmart

MoneySmart is a website run by the AISC that offers a range of resources, tools and planners suitable for all Australians – young or old, rich or poor, investing or paying off debt.

The financial guidance offered through the site is independent and free, meaning that you have access to unbiased information at your fingertips.

We have already highlighted a few of their tools through our website and Facebook page before, but we thought they deserved another run:

Whether you need help clearing debt, planning your financial future or simply want to make the most of your money, this site should be your first point of call.

Visit the MoneySmart page, here.

Smart Decisions

Sometimes life can lead us to a crossroads, and deciding on which path to take is just too darn hard.

Smart Decisions is a free app designed to make everyday choices that little bit simpler. Rather than simply picking an outcome at random, the app allows you to use a range of different decision making techniques to get your answer.

It makes deciding what to have for lunch a much quicker process – trust us!

Smart Decisions is available here on Android via Google Play.

Using an Apple product? Check out ChoiceMap, the Apple equivalent to Smart Decisions, available here in the App Store.

Give Yourself A Break

Taking a break means prioritising self-care in whatever way nourishes your soul. It could be taking a holiday, going to the hair dresser, doing a dance class, art class, or yoga, meditation, deep breathing, laughing with a friend, or visualising a happy place. “Stress mode” cannot coexist with “relaxation mode”, so find a way to relax and take a break.
