CR is Loving – Fun and Friends

Over the past few weeks Clarity Road has been BIG on work-life balance.
So, we decided it was about time to practice what we preach and made it our mission to get the endorphins pumping in our own lives.
I know, it’s a tough job, but someone has to do it, right?
This week, CR is Loving anything and everything to do with fun and friends.

No Lights No Lycra

Ever wanted to just dance out the stress of the week? Now. You. Can.

No Lights No Lycra (NLNL) is a pretty simple concept. No lights, no lycra, no dance instructor, no steps to learn…just a dance floor and pumping music for you to let loose without judgement. Seriously. Julie went to her first session this week and stacked it on a chair. Then got straight back up and kept on dancing. That certainly wouldn’t happen at a night club!

NLNL isn’t just in Brisbane. In fact, it started in Melbourne, and now has locations around Australia and internationally.

If you’ve been looking for somewhere to be yourself and shake your groove thang minus the peer pressure, this is the place.

Girls Night in for Pink Ribbon Day (27 October 2014)

What better way to get some fun back in your life than to combine games, wine, good food and great company. A Girls Night it is!

Last weekend, Jess went to a Girls Night In fundraiser and lost her voice from laughing so hard. Even better, the constant fits of giggles were an amazing ab workout to counteract the effects of the copious amounts of cheese and chocolate that were consumed. It’s win-win!

With the Pink Ribbon Day Girls Night appeal, you even have a great excuse to get everyone together. Raising money for breast cancer research has never been so fabulous!

Check out the Pink Ribbon page here.

Bring Your Baby – EVENT Movie Club

Everyone needs a good movie in their life. But having a little one can make heading to the cinemas more fuss than it’s worth.

Bring Your Baby is a great initiative by Event Cinemas for parents and carers of little ones. Need to feed, nurse or burp your baby during the session? No problem – everyone in the theatre completely understands. Bring Your Baby offers a great opportunity to meet new people and to actually see that Jennifer Lawrence movie before you hear the spoiler.

Best of all, you don’t have to worry about annoying your neighbour because they are in exactly the same boat.

See Bring Your Baby locations and times here.

Give Yourself A Break
