CR is Loving – Simple Ways to Feel Good

This week, we are loving simple sites and services to help you feel good.

re:MY Style

Most of us can’t afford to spend a fortune on clothes or hire a fashion stylist (that money is reserved for chocolate). But there’s no doubt that our self-esteem skyrockets when we are rockin’ something sassy.

For your dose of style advice, head over to the re:MY Style page on Facebook. Lise is a Brisbane based mum of two boys who has worked as a model and fashion writer across the globe. On her page you will find fashionable, practical pieces at an affordable price. But you will also get a bunch of hilarious stories from an everyday mum about…well, pretty much everything.

re:MY Style is the perfect balance between fashion and fun…what’s not to love?!

Sunshine Coast Women’s Lifestyle Expo

There’s nothing quite like a girls’ day out. Why not ramp up the feminine factor by heading to a day made for women?!

Clarity Road presented at the Sunshine Coast Women’s Lifestyle Expo last year and had a BLAST. We are sitting this one out from a stall-holders perspective…so we can head along and get right into the swing of things on the floor!

The Expo attracts exhibitors from a broad range of industries – health, photography, fashion, finance, wine. You name it, they have it.

Entry is free – as are many of the workshops held across the weekend. So, keep August 22 and 23 open in your diary for a day of good ol’ fashion girl time. For a full timetable and list of exhibitors, head to the website now.

Evolution House

It’s hard to feel at home when you are unhappy with your surroundings. You need to find a haven that reflects you – or build one to suit.

Carmen Darwin at Evolution House might be your answer. She is a highly respected renovation, design and decoration expert who can work on a budget to help you to create a vibrant space that truly makes you feel at home. One look at her website shows that she knows what she is doing.

For a limited time she is offering Clarity Road readers in Brisbane a two hour Renovation Brainstorm Session for just $300.

During the session she can help you to find your renovation direction and gain momentum. Think creative ideas, practical suggestions and a comprehensive action plan to help you move forward. When it comes to time saved and ideas gained, this consult can prove invaluable.

Head to Carmen’s site and claim your session, today!

Women’s Weekly Recipe Archive

There’s nothing quite like a good feed to boost your spirits!

Remember all of those recipes in the Women’s Weekly magazines across the years? They are now available for free online through the recipe archive. Hellooooo pumpkin scones.

There’s really nothing more to say – get searching/drooling here!

It could be taking a holiday, going to the hair dresser, doing a dance class, art class, or yoga, meditation, deep breathing, laughing with a friend, or visualising a happy place. “Stress mode” cannot coexist with “relaxation mode”, so find a way to relax and take a break.
